SANCTUARI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare, animal rights, and environmental organization.
We aim to improve the quality of wildlife care and wildlife survival rates in various ways, including by:
- Helping wildlife rescuers with their financial, technical, and logistical burdens
- Documenting and communicating our most successful methods for palliative and convalescent care, based on the latest, best scientific knowledge and methods
- Assisting others with publication of helpful wildlife care information
- Partnering with effective, similarly-aligned entities
- Advancing animal rights, welfare, and habitat protections
- Supporting and driving adoption of green technologies
- Setting the highest feasible standards for fundraising efficiency and effectiveness
